If you’re an Abillio Pro user, it’s important to know where you can send payments to freelancers, depending on the currency you’re using. Here’s a breakdown of supported countries and costs when paying in USD or EUR.

Paying freelancers in USD

If you plan to pay your freelancers in USD, check this list of supported countries and regions to ensure their location is eligible. If the country isn’t listed, unfortunately, you won’t be able to process payments to them via Abillio.

How Much Does It Cost?

Sending money in USD—especially outside the Euro SEPA zone—can be costly due to multiple bank fees. Here’s a breakdown of potential charges:

  • Abillio’s banking partner applies a fee ranging from $1 to $18 per transaction.
  • The receiving bank may deduct an additional fee of up to $20 from the freelancer’s payment.
  • This means the freelancer could receive up to $38 less than the original payment amount.

Since these fees are imposed by banks and not Abillio, we have no control over them. However, to ensure your freelancer receives their full payment, you may want to add the estimated bank fees to their next payment.

How long does it take for freelancers to receive the payment?

SWIFT payments can take up to 7 business days. For US based accounts 1-2 business days (ACH).

Paying freelancers in Euro

If you’re paying freelancers in EUR, transactions are processed under the SEPA payment scheme. To see the list of supported countries, check this list. If a country isn’t listed, Abillio unfortunately cannot process payments there.

How Much Does It Cost?

Payments within the SEPA zone are significantly cheaper, typically costing up to €1 per transaction.
